Overview

Our Family Office group provides ultra-high net worth individuals and their related family entities financial management and accounting services customized to fit their needs and objectives. Our services range from bill paying, cash flow reporting and forecasting, expense monitoring, financial reporting and analysis, and other financially administrative services. We are looking for a career minded and resourceful professional to join us as a Family Office Manager.

 

The right person will be a critical thinker who's a strong team player with passion and relentless focus on serving clients and meeting their needs. The role requires a strong understanding and fluency with accounting and comfort in conversing and responding to high net worth clients with confidence. It's essential that you are a self-starter with strong intellectual curiosity and flexibility to navigate our fast paced environment. Responsibilities

A successful Family Office Manager will:

  • Build trusted relationships with clients and become a recognized point of contact for day-to-day family office matters.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership of engagements and anticipate client needs; proactively identify opportunities to add value beyond routine accounting and reporting services.
  • Consistently deliver financial reporting and client deliverables on time and with a high degree of accuracy. This includes monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial information. 
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Effectively forecast cash needs and proactively address liquidity, and funding matters.
  • Develop team members through mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with Partners and cross-functional teams to support client needs, business development opportunities, and practice growth.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA certification
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience in a professional or business environment. Family office services or similar, individual client service experience 
  • Investment tracking and performance measurement experience 
  • Organization skills and extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Expert user of QuickBooks and Intacct software systems
  • Ability to adapt to new AI/Automation tools 
  • Excellent communication skills and client service skills with a high sense of urgency

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship and we do not sponsor applicants for work visas. The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $160,000. The pay range reflects the San Francisco Bay Area and compensation will be adjusted for each candidate based on their matching experience and individual geographic location of work.
