Overview

We look forward to meeting driven, passionate and collaborative individuals to join our sophisticated and growing tax practice. We are seeking Tax Senior Associates with 3-5 years of corporate, or business focused tax experience in public accounting. 

 

Tax Senior Associates work closely with our managers and partners to provide innovative tax solutions for our sophisticated client base. We service a wide range of clients influenced by Silicon Valley, with our largest practice groups serving ultra high net-worth individuals, pre-IPO and public companies, along with trade and investment partnerships across a variety of industries. 

 

This position can be based out of our San Francisco or San Jose office. For those able to access one of our offices, we support hybrid work schedules that blend in-office and working from home. 

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing returns and other tax projects related to advisory, planning, research and consulting 
  • Anticipating and identifying client tax issues and concerns, providing consultative and strategic solutions 
  • Mentoring, training and supervising Tax Associates
  • Working with Partners and Managers to formulate strategic business and tax planning recommendations
  • Identifying ways to improve the processes, with a focus on providing the highest quality client service
  • Participating in the recruitment of new staff

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a broad spectrum of skills and breadth of tax experience that will immediately inspire confidence.

  • Minimum of 3years of public accounting experience in business or corporate taxation 
  • CPA licensed, or license pending with exams passed
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting; Master's degree in taxation a plus
  • Experience focused in business entities (i.e., Corporations, S-Corps, Partnerships and LLCs)
  • Passionate professional who understands the value of counseling and mentoring others

The salary range for this position is $110,000- $135,000. This pay range reflects the San Francisco Bay Area. Compensation will be adjusted for each candidate based on their geographic location and experience.
